Where your data lives
Everything you enter stays on your own device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Accounts & tracking
No sign-up, no analytics, no advertising identifiers.
Becoming Us is built to keep your family's information private by default. Child profiles, sleep and feeding logs, developmental notes, and photos are stored only on the device you use — never on a server we operate, and never shared with anyone.
Nothing. Becoming Us does not operate a server, and has no mechanism to receive, store, or transmit your data anywhere. Every child profile, log entry, milestone, and photo you create is written directly to storage on your own phone or browser.
The app may ask for permission to access your camera or photo library so you can attach a picture to a child's profile or a milestone entry. Any photo you choose is saved locally, in the same on-device storage as everything else. Becoming Us never uploads, transmits, or has access to these photos beyond displaying them back to you inside the app.
Becoming Us does not require you to create an account or sign in. The app does not use analytics services, advertising identifiers, cookies, or any form of third-party tracking.
You can delete an individual photo, log entry, or an entire child profile at any time from within the app. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, uninstalling Becoming Us permanently removes all data associated with it from your device.
Becoming Us is a tool for parents and caregivers to record information about their own children. It does not knowingly collect information directly from children, and — as described above — does not transmit information about anyone, child or adult, anywhere.
If Becoming Us later adds features that involve sharing data between devices — for example, letting two parents see the same information — this policy will be updated first, and the effective date above will change to reflect it.
Questions about this policy can be sent to dul.wimalatissa@gmail.com.
